About Jade
Jade Phillips is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker providing trauma-informed, attachment-based psychotherapy. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families, and has a particular interest in complex mental health presentations, eating disorders, attachment difficulties, and relational trauma.
Sessions may incorporate skills-based approaches such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to support symptom alleviation, alongside insight-oriented approaches including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Schema Therapy to explore and address underlying concerns. Jade has training in Family Therapy and brings a systemic perspective to her work, whether supporting individuals or families. She works from a trauma-informed framework that emphasises collaboration, autonomy, and safety within the therapeutic relationship.
Jade is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers and is registered with Medicare Australia to provide Focused Psychological Strategies under the Better Access initiative.
